Maybe this game need to connect Wi-Fi to play. My friend has a same problem then she change internet to wi-fi and she can play with me.
I am getting the same connection issue. First time launching the game. Tried restarting and switching networks. Is there anything I can do or are the servers just down? Checked the dev twitter and don't see anything there about the servers being down.

I've got the same issue. When I connect to a room and click ready, it kicks me out, says "you are not connected to the game server" then it says "you are connected" and goes back to the main menu. And that happened over and over again whenever I try to connect to a room.

1st of June 2020 here and I still get the same error, are the servers down? why not make it a peer to peer connection to avoid all these problems? it's just a 2 player server anyway.

Same problem here. Why should anyone buy the full priced games when you can't even get the free game to test it.

Hi everyone, I just solved this problem by inputting in launch settings the following: -clientport 80, then restarted the game and thats it, the game had started

Same here, in Germany. I can open or join a room, but after tring to start or click something, i will be kicked out with such message. It is like this since the first day for me. Doesn't matter with whom i try to play. i read it is because of windows 7 but administration control and everthing doesn't work for me either.

Hi,
I found a solution to a problem that works for me.

1. Just download the program to connect via LAN. I use Radmin VPN.

2. Create a network and join it together.

3. Then start the game WITHOUT STEAM. To do this, turn off steam and go to the game folder (steam> steamapps> common> we were here). Start the game with the icon.

4. Make sure steam is off. When you click "invite friend" in the game, it should appear that you have no connection to steam.

5. Create a server and have fun with your friends :)

Have a nice game!
