PROBLEM - Tilde key

Tilde key is not available on Spanish keyboard layout... I tried almost every key in my hardware and nothing happens... (sad) :'(

I want to absorb thoughts into my miiiiiiind !!! D:

Same here. QWERTY-Keyboards have the ~ Key on the + Button and you have to press ALT GR to get it. But the game does not recognize this combination.

Switch your keyboard to english for the game. If you're on windows, use the ALT+SHIFT combination. Then, use ² key for ~ or whatever is in the top left corner of your keyboard :)

To US keymap, possibly. It sure as hell doesn't work on a an actual English (GB) layout. Dissapointing to see such an obvious howler in the first ten minutes- poor QA/port.

I think you're right : My english keymap is an american one. Maybe if you add it, you'll be able to "fix" it too... Sadly, I'm kinda use to it, since it's not the first non-american keyboard unfriendly key mapped game I play...

We just pushed an update that adds the M key for opening the Mind, as well, so you shouldn't need to do any keyboard configuring to fix this.

I'm afraid there is no key to open the mind or how do I have to imagine that? No "tilde", no M on a german keyboard layout working :( kind of a bummer, since I am trapped in this golden gate and apparently I have to open my mind ;) in order to leave?!

I've done my best to emulate this by installing German on my Windows 10 setup and switching to that. It appears to be the case that doing so interprets my US keyboard as if it is a German keyboard. Using the M key (next to comma) works for me in this configuration, but using the ~ key on my keyboard does not (expected because that's not where ~ is on a German keyboard).

Q: Where is the M key on your keyboard?

As mentioned earlier in the thread, it should also be possible to fix by setting the OS to interpret your keyboard as US English.
