this game is my introduction to the monster hunter franchise, to the grind and the onslaught through unimaginably ferocious monsters. i loved venturing through all the hardships, solo and together, and i would pay the universe to be able to experience this masterpiece all over again
hyped for wilds and another adventure to be laid out in front of us in near future.

My friend who I play MHR with said if I post a review on this Monster Hunter and it gets 50 likes and 25 Awards he will buy me Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025, 2 Kilo of Lemon, Vodka and Tequila to stream the game session Day 1 with him. So I'm just gonna leave this here. Please help a brotha

Tried to get into it; the controls were very clunky and uninitiative. I know folks will tell me "that's the point" or whatever, but between that and the pretty lackluster tutorial that alternates between "walk around and do nothing exciting" and "get bombarded with tons of info that you don't put into practice and therefore will forget", I just can't find myself pulled in.

Is the gameplay fun? yes 100%. Do you need to get down on your bruised knees to pray, confused and sobbing, to RNJesus to PLEASE just give you a specific uncommon drop over the course of several hours of painfully repetitive grinding? yes 100%

avid and long time monster hunter-er here, please buy the game and hunt monsters. also quick letter to capcom: please bring back monoblos. and lagiacrus. and gypceros. and cephadrome. and kecha wacha. and the mohrans. and dont ever touch basarios again i swear if i see that stupid pile of rocks in wilds im going to have a bone to pick with someone at capcom.
