That's a completely different story, and would be something completely unheard of and unprecedented from Capcom (at least of my experience with them). Them doing that would be something only EA and or other companies with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ marketing tactics would do.

Making a bug fix for a game only work if people had a specific dlc would get some very serious backlash from that game's community, regardless of who does or doesn't own that dlc requirement or who published the game.

umh, how can it be a completely different story when those 2 lines were what i wrote to begin with ?
not my problem you ignore some parts of what's written.........

but yeah, i've never heard of a game getting a DLC that has a bug, but only the dlc gets a fix for it.
which is why i made it into a WHAT IF.

There's plenty of games which have had bugs affecting non DLC.

Fix this CPU Problems PLS. I cant play the damn game since iceborne and i hate it i waited in joy to jump back in and play. But the lack in supoort and testing for the PC Version makes it hard to like it anymore. The release for MHW for PC was a dissaster as well and i hoped they lerned from it and i even bought a new Graphic Card for it to work and now i get forced to buy a better CPU because the port is wanky as ♥♥♥♥ and needs a tons of CPU usage. Fix the game finally or i force a refund for this!

I don't know why that would be for you, personally i do not have that as an issue. my frames never drop below 60 in hunts which is plenty for monster hunter

well, i played MHW before the release and was doing decent, with an old setup, was about 45 fps.
after the release i cannot even force it to lock at 30 fps, prioritize framerate, everything at low, about 1300p/760p and be able to play.
i know my computer needs to be upgraded, but going from 45 fps and mid settings, to being unable to play at all...

another thing:
if the issue was there and they introduced an event like that i most likely would have bought iceborne too + i would have played a lot more.

Is the armor a limited time to craft thing? Also when does the event end?
