I upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and the game works fine for me now.
i5 gen 2, zotac 1070 micro, 8gb ram. If some of you are still on 7 it might be time for change. You can still upgrade for free using some tool from microsoft

You can rip W7 from my cold dead hands, mate. MHW worked just fine before IB, system requirements did not state W7 is not supported at the time of IB release. Capcom just need to stop being bloody ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and remove the damn denuvo and whatever else anti-tamper ♥♥♥♥ they've put there. I'm waiting for one more patch and if it does not fix things, I'll do everything I can to refund this game and I'm never purchasing anything from Capcom again.

Enough is enough.

does anyone else have the issue of not having any high/low rank event quests

pre iceborne patch i played with high resolution pack, and now i cant because the ugly stuttering, fix the performance capcom

I sure as hell wont upgrade to win10 when win7 was completely fine with the base game, IB even runs "okay" after you try to close the window, this only shows how the game changed to the worse with this expansion, I didn't download 40GB and wasted 50€ for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I will play it once it actually runs again.

WHAT IF capcom only is trying to fix the performance for iceborne trying to force base players to buy iceborne if they want to play it without their system burned down ?

not saying that is what is going on, but it is almost 1month later and nothing has really happened, though they're making new content...

(pacefalm) You didn't read the reviews for the DLC at all, nor the update contents on the website did you... The framerate/CPU issues for are occurring for people regardless of whether or not you have the DLC, as the Iceborne update had lots of free changes that players without the DLC got.

Jesus, people can't be happy with anything capcom puts out on world...i understand the game is not optimized even a bit properly and has a ton of issues, but i just cant believe so many people are this entitled because "they paid full price and deserve a flawless game". The dev team are humans too, they can't just "fix everything" right away.

They delayed the port to fix these things you muppet, people are upset because they had time to fix these dumbass bugs but still haven't and have basically said "Lol ♥♥♥♥ off pc bad" and aren't doing anything about it.

As if. They had all that time in the four months between the console and pc versions release to do something about such by testing and fixing, and it clearly shows they didn't do anything at all about quality assurance.

That's a completely different story, and would be something completely unheard of and unprecedented from Capcom (at least of my experience with them). Them doing that would be something only EA and or other companies with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ marketing tactics would do.

Making a bug fix for a game only work if people had a specific dlc would get some very serious backlash from that game's community, regardless of who does or doesn't own that dlc requirement or who published the game.
