Character Editor
I just wanted to know whether there are other players hoping to have infinite character editor vouchers? I mean, I would like to edit my character again since what is shown in the preview is not exactly what I expected in game. I feel like the edit voucher is not enough and I wouldn't want to also start a new game just to be able to create another character.

It's unlikely gonna happen imo.
Just make a new character and use that as a practice edit before you actually edit.
The only thing that cant be changed after is gender and face structure anyway, the other features can be changed in your room.

There is a utility on Nexusmods that can export and import appearances. Always back up your save file first. Always back up your save file occasionally, anyway.

Never understood why it is locked in the first place

I could understand technical or cost issues...but it isnt the case
This is not a F2P game relying on microtransactions either

So why lock it behind vouchers in the first place, once it is programmed and working, in a full paid game...
Apart from annoying people, i see no reason at all

because despite it being a fully paid game, its a game that runs on servers, and they gotta keep those babies paid for somehow, given they havnt charged us for a single meaningful thing yet (iceborne being the first thing that actually matters we're getting charged for) i honestly dont see an issue, we've gotten many updates that lets face it, any other company would of said open your wallets first in order to get it

In Dragon's Dogma (also from Capcom) you can change anything from gender and name to appearance, both concerning your character and their pawn. You only have to complete the main game to unlock it. Free of charge. And there are servers to store your pawn's data. So, no, it's pure cash grub, nothing more.

I think the biggest reason why they aren't implementing a infinite voucher is because the game would lose all the fun by doing that. Your character is supposed to be unique.

i mean even if you changed your character's appearance, i doubt that it will not be unique considering the number of combinations possible.

That's not what I meant. If you create a Character you'll have to play with it until you decide to create a new one. That's simply a game feature which makes everything a bit more challenging.

I don't consider being stuck with a certain face to be interesting, nor do I find trying to get the face you want to be a compelling challenge. A friend of mine (who always tries very hard to see the positive side of things, often to the effect of disagreeing with me) argues that having to make a permanent decision enhances the game's mythos in some way. It doesn't work for me. Note also that your armor (thus skills) and items are swappable at will, so that somewhat undermines the argument, in my opinion.

I prefer to change what I wish to change and when. Thus, I suggest using the program I mentioned as much as you like.

I suggest you all to play Second Life if you are so in trouble with character looking and keep MHW as the platform you play.

Spoiler alert: You not even see your character's face in 97.34% of the time.

Sure, and I suppose you'd say they included all those customization options because they wanted to waste dev time and money, because no one cares about them.

It wouldn't be true if we said that, the editor is something "really well detailed". Basic functions only.

But anyway. I agree with the ones wanting a permanent method to play with the look. Since the current money grab method (which is even limited) is a joke.

It's already been done with the save editor, which can reset your voucher uses.
