where to see augment requirements on wiki?
I don't want to keep having to bug the forums and I feel like I am blind unless there really isn't any listed on the wiki?

if not anyone know what these items are?

thanks. I don't really understand how to use that list but it's better than nothing.

You need to hunt/gather monsters/rocks in your guiding lands. With the material from guiding lands you can augment your weapons.

I've killed every monster there at least once. still don't have the items I need. Whatever the next Monster Hunter game is like I hope they don't hide the materials like they did in this game. very frustrating. can't even look it up online.

you can 100% look it up online! what do you mean

one of the couple wiki's like this one https://monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/Augmentations+and+Upgrades

example: >> you want to put augments on your frostfang barioth weapon?
its a rarity 11 . so you scroll down the page a little and lets say you want a health augmentation!
you will need for level 1 hp regen
7x Tempered Silverpelt (the website has a link)
3x Tempered Poison Sac (the website has a link)
3x Spiritvein Solidbone (the website has a link)
3x Slumbering Greatbone (the website has a link)
Research Points: 500

level 2? (the website has links)
7x Spattered Hide
3x Tempered Green Scale
3x Spiritvein Solidbone
1x Guiding Forest Dragonbone

and so forth

and if the material is still ' ??? '
that just means you havent actually acquired that item yet & so may have not even encountered that monster yet in the guiding lands!

i should add that you will need 5 augmentation slots in total for 2 levels of health regen i believe? that means you will need to upgrade slots in the augment screen too(not decoration slots.)

No, this is not true and you know it. For regen 1 for your Glacial Demon ( GS rank 11 ) you need Tempered Silverpelt x7, Tempered Poison Sac x3, Spiritvein Solidbone x3, Slumbering Greatbone x3. ill link again that site. https://www.gameleap.com/articles/mhw-iceborne-augment-materials-complete-list

the way MHWI work is that you unlock crafting material or crafting blue print by founding key material when encoutering monster, mining, gathering, monster carving or getting quest reward. As long as you haven't unlocked the key material the item needed will shown as "????".

Each monster in the Guiding Lands has only one particular material. It's still RNG base. Bones and rocks however sucks. Too random plus they cycle. You can go for hours without getting the rocks or bone you need. Not to mention monster mats can be melded once you collected them once.
