I have and I still don't get it? So they upload virus to our computers?
So we won't be able to run mods? Simple mods like Beam Loot Drops?
Sure they won't intentionally add Malware to our PC
It's basically like, when you spend months creating 3D digital art and you want protection from randoms taking your art, putting NSFW content all over it and then loads of people making content on their version of your work and mocking it and then changing peoples perspective of your work and future work because now any time you spend months or years making new 3D digital art, you're aware people are just waiting to slap NSFW parts onto it.
I think if the modding community weren't as focused on cheat mods or NSFW content, if they had actually put effort on to creating mods that added genuinely more depth to the game or its lore, there would have been a different reaction from Capcom, evident by how other modding communities are highly praised like the Bethesda modding community

It's fair to dislike that imo.
In some cases DRM also negatively affects game performance which is another valid reason gamers hate it.
As for the Virus thing.. I think that's more associated with some rarer cases of DRM being less secure than it should be thus resulting in people's data and info being stolen because of the DRM itself.
It's not just gamers that hate DRM though, there's quite a few developers that are outspoken against it as well.
The Witcher Developer, CD Project Red is one studio that openly hates DRM.
For the most part DRM just doesn't work either, people who "yo ho" their games continue to break and get around DRM no matter how much time and effort is spent making it "impossible"
So the only thing DRM really achieves is screwing over legitimate customers at the end of the day, and that's another reason many people hate it, including CDRP who are on record stating that being one of the big reasons they hate DRM.

Or you can just look for yourself
Try not to pull this trick if you want to be taken seriously, this is just pathetic.
