Treasures not showing on their sites
Hi,
I'm at over 450 hours on my save and now trying to get 100%, while trying to do treasures at one point the sites stopped showing up for no apparent reason.

In some locations I am on 4th and 6th ones, and in few locations I am on first ones.

Every time I go to location where the treasure should be, there is no site to get the treasure out, nor any response from my palico that the treasure is close.
I tried expeditions on LR/HR/MR modes, trying during the night, day, dusk and dawn, tried pawswapping with all the tribes, but nothing seems to work.

Anyone had this problem, and/or knows a solution?

EDIT: It's worth adding that I have hints from palico tribes, some of my multi-part treasure hunts are halfway completed, but second part is missing the same way as the one-part treasure hunts.

You need to pawswap repeatedly to receive clues from the palico tribes. Once you have that, then you can go to the locations to collect the treasure.

You'll sometimes need to pawswap many, many times to get the next clue. I recommend creating a "trading loadout" where you have a variety of items that the tribes will love.

I'm an idiot, forgot to add that I have hints from palico tribes, it's just the treasure sites not showing up as they should.
As an example I am on Ancient Forest #4, where I have first part done, but second part treasure is nowhere to be found.

Not sure what to say other than you're probably not at the right place? I remember working my way through those treasure sites and for some of them I was way off. Like the clues were completely misleading and useless. I'd recommend just following a guide on Youtube.

I was using guides to find them before and it was working, but now even when I go into location from a guide there is nothing.
Even my palico doesn't mention that we are close to a treasure site.
And that's the problem.
Even when I stand in exact location where I should be according to the guide, there is still no treasure site.

Okay, I was able to solve it in the end ^^
I have no idea how it works, but after looking for hours in the internet, I couldn't find any solution to my problem.
Last time I took hiatus from MHW because of seemingly bugged trasure hunts, and I am 100% sure that they weren't working.
So when I got back today to doing treasure hunts after coming back to MHW I got back to the same wall that I couldn't get through before.
But after Suzaku's first comment I decided to give pawswaps a few more tries.
Checked it in 3 locations already - after starting to pawswap with grymalkynes all the previous treasure hunts that were bugged became completed (no idea why, but if it works, then it works I guess).
So if anyone ever has the same problem pawswapping till you get it is probably the only solution.

Also, thanks for help and quick response Suzaku  :praisesun:

Strange that it wasn't working, but glad to hear it's all figured out now. :steamhappy:
