ive read a few places ppl say 25% but even those places where ive read it has only been speculation
Tackle gives you the highest tier of hyper armour which blocks about 80%~90% dmg taken, it gets overriden by a weaker hypearmour if you are wearing the rocksteady mantle though which only has about 30% dmg reduction.

50% sounds too big for me, damage reduction usually made around 20, 25% ish, but I remember I read somewhere that it can be stacked with divine blessings, that's probably where the high number came from, especially if you're using defender gear cause they have divine blessing built in the armor

well on the post that the guy just above me just linked someone said its 50 and its what i hear the most so im gonna assume thats it
I think its only 25%, and can stack with divine blessing.

people hype it up because it ignores knockback, and retains the level of your swing through any attack - provided you can survive the hit, for another chance at your True Charged Slash.

I think people underestimate how much damage you take when you get hit because its often slotted with a health augment, so any damage taken from the hit recieved during the tackle is often fully regenerated if the TCS hits and returns a huge number.

this part "

i think it's been like that for long, the tackle skips stages, which means if you're already at max stage, it will retain that max stages which is a tcs, and if you have health regen augment on the weapon, it will heal you for chunks when the tcs hit, giving the illusion of high damage reduction
