Awakening charm, how to upgrade?

The wiki says that you require kirin azure horn and kirin thundertail. How do I get the kirin to spawn in expeditions? or how do I get a mission to hunt a high rank kirin? I'm HR 40

Not sure if it's necessary, but you need to complete optional capture quests to unlock a low rank kirin. Then you need to find Kirin tracks in a high rank expedition before you will be given an optional to hunt a high rank Kirin.

Did all of that questline and still got nothing sadly, I get the tracks of the high rank kirin in its area but its track doesn't level up no matter how many tracks I find in the area.

Tracks are bugged so progress doesn't show Just keep collecting tracks the bar is going up but there is no visual indicator and you will get the quest
