Is this effect permanent or only temporary?

And it stacks/is the same buff as those from nutrients, max potions, ancient potions, and meals with fresh ingredients, up to a max increase of 50hp.

So whatever you do, you can't go higher than +50hp?

From consumables, no. +50hp is the max.
That increased health does stack with the Health Boost armor skill, which can give up to another +50hp. 200hp is the max health you can reach in this game.

Vitality decos and some armor sets give this. Level 3 gives plus 50. With food buff maxed out another 50. You can mix and match food buff and mega nutrients but you cant go higher than 150 without the armor skills. Fatalis armor 4 set gives you a permanent +100 health negating the need for any of these.
