everytime I get bazelgeuse harassing me I think "thank god it's not deviljgo"
neither is particularly difficult but I find deviljho so miserable to deal with comparatively I genuinely want to abandon the hunt when they invade
Well I have more to look forward then I suppose!
If you're not comfortable fighting two monsters at once, bring dung bombs to move either your target or Baz to a new location. They can, and will come back after a time, but it'll buy some time apart.
Also, like a lot of items, monsters will grow a little more resistant to poop flinging, so alternate which monster you stink bomb to maintain effectiveness for longer.
By the way, I was NOT ready to laugh like I did when I clicked that... Bravo.
Will he leave if you hide? Such as with a mantle? Or will he just continue to turf war?
Regardless I think I'll be fine, I just thought it was obnoxious at first. I'm really loving the game though and I won't shy away from a challenge, just had a bad first encounter.
Most often? No... Actually hiding will bring the fighting between the monsters to a screeching halt as both enter a "Huh? Where'd he go?" Phase. Sometimes they'll continue to fight tho', and yes, sometimes one, or both will leave if they've taken enough damage or reset their timer *cough* I mean ... Decided to go elsewhere.
If you've got two monsters fighting each other and want to keep 'em going, I've had the best results by crouching but not specifically obscuring myself. Either that, or wading in and trying to keep one monster in the middle specifically.
Bagel is love, bagel is life.
He's always there for you
I'm sure he is, though I'm too much of a hammer fan and won't be changing weapons until I'm much more experienced with the game lol.
I picked the hammer when I first was playing a year or two ago (got like 20 hours in, I'm like 40 hours in now after starting back up 2-3 weeks ago), after trying out every single weapon in testing and finding it the most fun to use for me. It's simple, but the impact of knocking giant monsters on their butts constantly is just so satisfying, and finding openings to get those heavy attacks in is very rewarding.
