how would you manage dual blades in the game? 1 or multiple elemental versions?
im not sure if i should get one of each elemental ( would be alot of farming) or if there is something that people tend to do. carry with them, i dont wanna have like 6-8 different weapons and go back and fourth all the time

AFAIK the meta is kjarr weapons for element. They are to be obtained from Kulve Taroth siege hunt. They are best elemental for all weapon types.

As for the QoL of weapon swapping, there is a loadouts feature. You can swap gear, weapon and decos in 2-3 clicks with loadouts. I have a couple for every weapon type and change them every time i feel so.
Slime explosions seemingly always do fix 300 dmg each time. So, I'd try slime except for some special monsters like... Alatreon or Fatalis, maybe.

I think you can get away with three, water, ice and fire as DB. There's one DB that some ppl use for raw damage but you wont get the weapon til like the end so there's no point.

They are the best elemental melee weapons for all elements except Dragon, Alatreon weapons take a dump on them. You can also get them from Kjarr Alchemy but that's more of a scam than anything, not worth it unless you're really tired of hunting Kulve Taroth which you will be
i see, thank you for the help guys <3!
2-3 different elements is usually fine for story progression.

Depends on how far you are in the game. Kjaar/Tarroth weapons were considered meta DB for the longest time cause they were free and you could get multiple elements. Raging Brachy is also a good option, you can never go wrong with blast. If you’re in endgame and you don’t want to have to worry about elemental damage, Fatalis is always the answer. High Raw, High Sharpness, Decent Affinity (After Upgrading). I’m sure you can find a “Yet Another Weapon Guide” for MHWorld Dual Blades but those are some that come to mind

I brute forced raw crit DB every single fight in the game except Alatreon for obvious reasons (I'm sure you can do it I just cba), and never had an issue, so if you feel like you don't have enough elements, nah you're fine lmao, do it for fun not cause you feel you have to
