i would wish armor sets were more useful though, individualisation is always good.
i cant comment on the challenge part yet, currently its still pretty easy.
some other user said there were significant changes through a string of patches making the game far easier than it was initially.
true? false? i dont know.
Adding clutch claw and iceborne weapon combo changes (at least I think so) made base easier, not counting the armor. I feel there is enough challenge in end game at least for people that want it
I own all the MH games USA has available. Been playing since the good ole PS2 days. So if that makes me a Purist, or OG fan or whatever, I can tell you one thing. I enjoy Wilds a lot. I am use to how Capcom does MH titles, and I know Optimization and Master Rank plus a ton of Monsters are to come, so these issues mean NOTHING to me. The real factor is all the new mechanics, Fighting is the best it has ever been, Lobbies are fantastic, actual Environments you can share with friends, oddly a diverse set of characters that don't feel forced which I thought was gonna be a bad thing, but turned out really good, plus more but this isn't a review section.
The best thing about MH is you can play ANY title and have fun, and having a favorite doesn't make the others worse. I still play my PS2 file, I have almost 3khrs on it alone. I dislike 3U the most, but that's still a great game.
Once Wilds fully releases like World is, people are going to be saying the same crap about the new title and defending Wilds. Happens every time. All of us OG fans love em all cause they always bring something new and fun to the table making it worth buying.
