Still cant beat Alatreon :c

its been like five days of me trying to fight alatreon solo and i still cant do it, i can survive like 3 judgements into the fight getting the dps check semi consistently but he just has so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hp he just doesnt die, it feels like he just resets his hp everytime i cart or he just has infinite hp, i dunno what the ♥♥♥♥ to do

You could also try raw/blast GS + Fortitude. If it's your first clear who cares if you faint twice, Element GS also works if you really want those element topples (spam charged jumping wide slash). For raw/blast 2pc Raging Brachy 3pc whatever (I used Teostra) works well for comfort, 4pc Velkhana 1pc Frostfang works very well for both.
If you use your palico equip it with a status weapon, I personally suggest you go without it so that you can reliably position yourself and land those charged slashes.

if you don't have kjarr ice you can go with Deep Schnegel II its second best elemental ice CB

Well ya ... you have options . Charge Blade absolutely destroyed Fire Alatreon because of
1. Ridiculous Stats of Kjarr ice Charge Blade &
2. Savage axe mode
You don’t have 1 , but it’s ok . Frost fang charge blade should be enough.

And ya Critical Element is necessary . At this point , you can get them in these ways . Here are my ideas right now , there may also be other better options I don’t notice .

1. Frost Fang CB + 2 Velk armor + 3 Safi . ( You can use Beo CB as alternative ) .
2. Frost Fang CB + 4 silver los + Grauga legs . ( you can use Beo CB as alternative . Personally I don’t like this build )
3. Safi ice CB with Silver Rathalos Essence + 3 silver los + 2 raging Brachydios . ( Alatreon have very good raw hit zones , problem is his elemental dps check . So having agitator secret + True Critical Element is .... not bad )

I highly recommend you to try after Master Rank 100 . After MR 100 , you unlock 2 most essential things to fight Alatreon .
1. Augmented armor pieces &
2. Health Regen Augment for rarity 12 weapons . Believe me , your CB really want this HP regen . You can get both from Guiding land so you better just forget Alatreon and focus on Guidng Land region leveling .

And don’t forget HP boost level 3 armor skill .

Without these , fighting Alatreon is just unnecessary chore . Not saying it’s not possible .

Never SAED , just spam savage axe mode . Hack ... I don’t even use “focus” against ala . Just throw every possible damage and slap that thing hard !

Also as everyone said get to MR100 to augument your stuff
It's more def for your armor
Potential bonus damage or healing for dealing damage on your weapon (or both)

iam no cb user did him with db and ls, used the normal 5piece safi + dragon kjarr setup,
than switched to his weapons. (yeah i know all saying dragon is the worst element you could use but it is working for all phases)

keep focusing on frontlegs and head, made this failure in an early attemp while stayed at the back legs

you may want to change your weapon if you struggle with one so badly, sometimes the fights are already getting so much easier by doing so.

a little tip if he is too annoying while flying nonstop, use smoke bombs, hide in the smoke and he will land quickly

It's good you can get the topple. Critical element (2 velk pieces) helps to get it earlier. There's no need to use silver los or safi like some people are telling you here, you're not trying to carry useless 3 teo 2 brachy 'at least i never stop to sharpen' lightbreak users, just do enough to get the topple

SAED was nerfed for this fight and your CB has impact phials, never use SAED in that fight

-to break one horn you enrage him at the start (turn his head 3x) and he won't be enraged while flying during dragon phase so use rocksteady/temporal mantle and bring him down with a flinch shoot
-use your axe attacks to break the horn, even if your weapon isn't charged just use the axe attacks
-do the "a fish to whet your appetite" event, Alatreon doesn't let you do the full sharpening animation. Whetfish fin+ are great.

on a side note, people usually get better against alatreon when they learn how to avoid/dodge most of his attacks and counter. You can attack him a lot more if you learn the patterns
for ex: learn how to time-dodge the lightning attacks, the fire circle attack he puts on the ground explodes 3x and you can jump inside after the 1st explosion for free hits etc

it isn't a bad idea to go into the fight and just dodge everything to practice

Best reccomendation is to fight him once but do not bother attacking - just focus on learning the patterns of his attacks, and note where the head/tail is for the start/end of each attack. Once you have the patterns remembered, you can find the perfect zones to hang out. Once ready, then fight him for real. This tactic works on pretty much all monsters.

If u cant go for a Kjarr why dont u try azure era set for the true critical element? its a slightly better multiplier but the problem is kjar augmented weapons gives a pretty good base elemental damage, bit of a shame to have to grind the hell out of the event for this tho...

Seems like OP got everything covered for the fight. Don't know how much defense they have, but i think your problem is that you're not being aggressive enough throughout the fight. Considering you survived 3 escatons, that's like 18+ minutes.
