Capcom will port old games to PC eventually. When they need the money to fund some other monster hunter game. If people weren't willing to play the game 10 years ago, what chance is there people will buy the game now?

The bigger issue is that MHW popularized Monster Hunter, and they don't know how many people would play the older games that don't have the Quality of Life improvements that MHW was full of.

Last I checked, Nintendo found a way to scrub 3DS emulators from the internet (or was it just Citra, IDRC), so anything between above MHTri can be a little tricker to get running right now.

You can't scrub anything from the internet. All they accomplished it they took down all the "official" forks of some emulators along with their websites. You can still find plenty of links everywhere, just you have to look for them. Edit: just checked and there are already new forks with people working on the emulator. Wouldn't be surprised if they included some of the old staff under new aliases. So yeah... all Nintendo did was piss some people off with zero results.
Nintendo only went after that group because they broke the one rule: they were selling emulation. People will defend the group to the death, but the group had Yuzu versions locked behind paywalls. Apparently tho, Citra was taking so long because the group also had quite a few internal disputes? So, that whole thing was doomed to fail, Nintendo involved or not.

Paywalling someone else homework? Smart way to be blacklisted on any tech company...

seriously kbm controls are really good
sure if you're content with being extremely mediocre at the game or if you only use ranged weapons

There's literally no difference between KBM and Controller. OP is a dingus but your claims are even more hilarious lol. In fact KBM is superior because it improves ranged while not hindering melee players at all, idk what you were trying to even say with that lol.

Interesting, I'm not involved in Citra enough to know all the details. But if they were asking for it, then I guess they got what they were asking for.

Still, my only point is that it's virtually impossible to get rid of anything on the Internet. I think even Nintendo knows this, despite them being very trigger happy when it comes to emulators and fan-made content. Citra lives on, and it will live on regardless of how many sites or people they go after.

Oh for sure, nothing is scrubbed. It's why the guy behind Ryujinx decided to go go with the payout route. He uploaded all of his work to github, then took the paycheck from Nintendo to stop working on it. Yuzu kinda died because of the nonsense behind the scenes.

You'll have to rebind stuff for Keyboard only though (or use a controller), mouse + keyboard is jank in the older games since the games were never meant to accommodate KBM gameplay, and some have private servers active

Emulation takes a bit of effort and some brain power to set up. A bar too high to clear for some.
also illegal

Just use citra, it took me literally 15 minutes to get working well and I have no patience for modding and emulators, so you know it's easy. 3U 4U and GenU are what I have, and after about 10 minutes of googling you get each one working wonderfully. It bound my ps4 controller on automap with no issues. Stuff is actually crazy good

In the United States, Emulation is NOT illegal.

Are you implying you will go their house and take their family hostage? That's illegal and criminal act.

That would take too much effort. They'll go and leave little flaming baggies and ring the door bell. Mwahhaaahhaha
