Create Mod
Hello everyone, I just installed my first mod today and i wonder if it's possible to modify monsters damage multiplier ? Because I tried with the MHW Editor but when i start the quest of modified monster, i have a infinite loading screen.
Any idea why ? And how can I do that ?

If it's a value in one of the files then you can definitely edit it. If you have an infinite loading screen then it simply means you screw something up. What you screwed up is anybody's guess, that's on you to figure out.

Use a mod manager if this is your first time modding a game.

I downloaded a mod called Monster Hunter Hard Mode, it seems to work fine until now. I'm using it as an example to modify the values.

Okay so it doesn't work... I installed vortex, installed and enabled Stracker's loader, NativePC Enabler and the MHW Hard mod. The value of rathian damage multiplier in the file : em001/00/.dtt_agr has been modified to 1.7 (base 1.15) and still no changes on the damage...
Any idea?

Don't use Vortex, it's a crappy program and you don't need it for anything to work. In fact it can only make things worse. Probably not the issue here but better safe than sorry.

Also I never modified monster's damage, I only made changes to weapon movesets and MVs.

Oh really? I though it was a safe thing.. i'll get rid of it quickly then
It should be the same process, doesn't it? Did u used MHW Editor like I did?
