Any monster worse than Anjanath?

is there anything more infuriating to fight than that purple fire-breathing t-rex? That ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing beat me so hard 40+ times and has 2 million health while being fast af and the size of an elden ring boss, every time I thought I had it beat that mfer would jump me or tail whip my ass or run all the way across the map and steal the lightning lizard-fox nest. Literal Souls boss in between half a dozen with glaring and easily exploitable weaknesses

Anjanath is the first wall in the game that you have to upgrade your gear and weapons to take on easily. Once you learn Anjanath's attacks and have decent defense he isn't that bad. There are far worse monsters then Anjanath and even then those ones that are worse just take practice to take down once you have gear that is upgraded.

Black Diablos, Bird Up! (that one quest, you know the one), the spinning pickle, TIE-GREX, Blue Toaster, Kush.

I think those are the most annoying fights i've had so far. They got tolerable over time but they were the most annoying to first encounter.

I'm trying different weapon sets. I'm having the hammer right now, sick of having my longsword bounce off everything. It's not like i stand a chance with pinky alone...

But yeah, until the server work you might be better off working on your gear. Make an armor set. Farm uh... not optionals i forgot the name interventions? Farm armor upgrades. Kill stuff in low rank, mashing buttons on a new weapon.

upgrade your stuff all you can, water weapons are super helpful too.

MR vespoid is the most annoying monster in the game.

Use food buff and health boost skill (if you can get it) to increase your hp. Nutrients and max potions also increase your max hp, which is one of the best ways to increase your survivability. Make sure your gear is up to date as well, with decent skills and good defense. Don't forget to upgrade it with armor spheres. Low defense makes Anjanath a nightmare.

Bring traps to stun him for easy damage or to create openings to tenderize a body part. I usually just tenderize his legs since it's what I spend most of the time hitting. Once broken it'll be easier to dish out damage to him. Don't forget to do wallbangs on him if he gives you a good opening (for example when he's standing still and drooling). Flashpods can be a good way to distract him for a bit if you need to reset the fight and heal up or sharpen your weapon.
