"Can't Fast Travel in Combat"

Fight quest monster and another joins in. Quest monster eventually flees.

This other monster that isn't the quest target is aggro on me as it was hit in the crossfire.

Ok no big deal.

Runs to camp so I can go to another that is nearer the target.

"Can't fast travel in combat"

Sharpen weapon and restock. Check emails.

"Can't fast travel in combat"

Go take a quick shower, feed the pets, go to the bathroom.

"Can't fast travel in combat"

Abandons quest as I'm in the Ancient Maze and have no desire to run to the other side.

Its getting harder and harder to defend World, hopefully Wilds improves upon this garbage.

you can craft a item that fast travel you direct to the next camp in and out fight...
check your crafting options.. there are alot of usefull tools and gimicks

its called "farcaster" crafed with smokenut and exictedshroom

lol I have 1100 hours in this game, I dont think ive used one of those before

it is a great "oh ♥♥♥♥" escape before you die.. and you can easy restock in camp :)

Aggro in this game is really weird and highly inconsistent, sometimes you can be 3-4 zones away from some random small monster while you're hiding in a bush and you'll still be "in combat"

AFAIK the only way to surefire break combat is with ghillie mantle or smoke bombs but there's a chance I'm wrong

farcaster is the tried and true method. Whip up a bunch, they're cheap. Any time a fast travel fails just pop a farcaster and it'll get you out. Also works fairly well when monsters are attacking, you get iframes when the cutscene begins.

Have you tried Ghillie Mantle? Is really useful to get out of combat in any situation.
