the slots in the armor is there any way to add more or increase the level of the slot?

It would be cool if rather than just increasing the armor value, we had the option of augmenting armor with extra slots, resistances, or skills. But no, as of now the only thing you can change about a piece of armor is its armor value.

There is one possible way: Mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/1997

WARNING
While it may works now, but no one knows for sure when the game updates to version 14.0
You savefile COULD BE CONSIDERED AS CORRUPTED after the game updated.
(As we have seen some people had this problem when the game updated to 13.5)

You can use a Augment slot to increase a deco slot if that is what you are asking.

That's only on the weapons, the OP was referring to armour.

Fashion Hunters sometimes make sacrifices to wear armor that looks good. They don't use Transmog or other 3rd party program (otherwise you're not a Fashion Hunter, you're just a mod-user), but neither do they allow what skills they may be lacking to hold them back from hunting in what looks good. There's always a way to make the armor work. :steamhappy:

Head piece is a nerf to the set design, but damn if it don't look fantastic!

without cheating you can't

usually you have two choices either a version usually had less slot but with more skill built it

b version usually has more slot variety but less skill built in

most people usually goes with b set

if you don't care about set bonus skill you can just pick any armor you like with more slot

Damn Nexus. From one of the best mods sites on the internet to a fully fledged Adult content and cheat/Trainer Hub. 15 year old teens are all over it!

Let's be fair, I remember nexus from the oblivion days, I'm not sure how big they were before then, and there wasn't exactly a shortage of adult mods for Oblivion. It's still a great website and their launcher has improved in spades. I can't believe how easy it is to manage Skyrim mods compared to Oblivion.

Hot take augmenting armor slots would be too OP

It would be because skills are overtuned in MHW. If they were to go back to the old system, which has it's positives and negatives in comparison, it would be a lot more balanced.

The greatest skill back in that day, to me, was Sense. Not the +10 for "Stealth", but the -10 for "Taunt". As a Lance main back in MH4U I liked having the monster focus on me roughly twice as much as others in the group and this was the only point where I'd seen a negative skill effect cause a positive result.

“true fashion hunters don’t use transmog or mods”

the same people that do this cart in the safi jiiva siege 3 times and then say BUT GUYS I NEED TO LOOK GOOD WHILE I’M DOING IT.

Don’t listen to this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and do transmog if you want to or mod your visuals if you want to. it’s your copy of the game. just don’t ruin other peoples game by joining a multiplayer fight and eating up all of the carts.
