Deviljho Large Gold Crown, does it exist?

This thing... this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. I've measured and slain so many of these bastards that they should be extinct 5 times over. And not one large gold crown.
Got the small crown from the event quest, but capcom forbid that they add the guaranteed large deviljho event quest for PC.
Missing this and Blackveil Vaal Hazak and I'm done. I just need 2 more crowns.. just 2 more.... Please... just let the crowns spawn...

Luckily I got mine within 3 hunts.

Make sure you're doing investigations as you can't get them any other way.

1 gold AND 1 silver/3 bronze = 3% chance

4 gold = 6% chance

Damn was going to say do the Event quest but that's PS4 only. Just keep save scumming until it happens. There's this weird things where the monster is the right scale when measuring but it'll be high silver crown.

i believe deviljho crowns arent needed for the achievement, unless its savage deviljho than its required for icebornes crowns achievement... r.i.p.

It exists, you just have to keep farming, I just got all the achievements in the game, I was missing a small kushala

Devil isn't needed for the base game crown achievements, but it is needed for the DLC crown achievements.

As for OP's issue.. are you measuring for them?
There's lots of guides out there for measuring monsters pre fight to see if they are in range for a crown.

I had to hunt a good few Deviljo myself but after I started measuring them it did get easier.
Large crown Deviljo is pretty massive compared to normal and small ones so it's fairly easy to measure.

Lucky you only have 2 monsters to go, I have most of the DLC ones left, not Blackveil though I have both crowns for that after an annoying amount of hunting..

I'm still 6 achievements off the 100%, well 5 really since the 6th one will unlock the same time as the 5th :)

I will get back to MHW at some point soon though, enjoying a little break atm.
I've been crown hunting pretty heavily the past couple months and it's extremely tedious tbh.

Definitely want the game done before the new year rolls around.

Hi, one question, are those percentages always like that or just in this case? I'm missing several crowns and I'm farming like crazy but I can't get them ever.

Yes they're always like that.

Farming crowns does take a long time, especially if you are killing every monster on every attempt.

Ideally you'll want to be measuring monsters before hunting them and quitting the hunt if they fail to be within range of crowns.

This will save you countless hours of grinding.
