Missing some Optional Special Arenas...

Still shows a [blue] complete flag on Master Rank 2 stars. I have most of them, but anyone know how to obtain the missing special arenas? I'm like MR 300.

To unlock a special arena quest you need to capture the monster first.

A pro tip is to not do any of the special arena quests until you've captured each and every monster in that specific star group at least once, then you can check your special arenas off through a checklist to save yourself a ballache.

Yup. You could also try searching SOS for each monster to see if somebody posted a special arena and pray but recapturing is probably better.

should i pay attention to the MR rank of the monster? like will a 2 star Radobaan work just as well to unlock the missing optional quest as a 4 star?

The only thing that matters is the critters rank. Low, High or Master. Capturing any of them, whether or not they're tempered or in an investigation with a higher level requirement critter, will be the same as if you captured one from the similar star optional quests.

That said, the information where you can see if you've captured the critter before DOES NOT differentiate between ranks. It still lists you've captured the creature whether or not you've captured it in Master Rank. So, you're most likely missing a Master Rank captured critter that can be found in High Rank.

Optional arenas always reappear. Imo it's good because you don't have to fight those monsters on events if you want more materials to craft gear. It just feels like almost free bonus.

No. You specifically need to capture a MR monster to unlock its MR special arena.
