How do you farm MR ?
I would like to know how you farm master ranks, and how many ranks you can make a day.

currently there are event quests for 5 monsters that award bonus hr/mr and they give around one and a half mr per completion, it's not the easiest way but it's the one I know and have used

events quest and mostly ED in guiding lands. each ED or ED level monster gives you 1 mr and useful materials.

The fastest way is the guiding lands. High tier monsters like ruiner nergigante basically give a whole level on their own. If you're efficient you can average close to 10 MR an hour.

I am MR 315 currently, i don't exactly count how many ranks i gain in one day but maybe around 5-10 since i am not also in hurry and not playing a lot recently, and i got that mostly from just hunting in guiding land.

There are some event quests dedicated for that too, i can list some:
- A Bunch of Sticks in the Mud
- A New Troublemaker in Town
- Hunter-Blunderer
- A Sky & Sea of Fire
- A Curious Experiment
- Soaked and Shivering
- Servants of the Vale
- The Desert Dash
- In the Depths of the Forest
- The Winter Blues
- A Reason Behind The Hunger

Go into the guiding lands and kill everything, turn area leveling off if need be but just never stop killing in TGL and you will level up fast, even faster than bonus hr/mr events.

The crown event quest. Avg 2 mr a run + crowns.

I would said more likely to be 5 MR an hour. GL monster have higher HP.

(I'm MR 535, roughly half of my MR came from GL in 4 man SOS).

You can make up the difference with fortify and ruiner in particular is extremely easy to kill fast. (I'm MR 999 with most of it coming from solo GL)

Colorful Carnival is probably the easiest event quest that you can farm for MR with. It gives 1MR per round and the targets are all birbs.

Tempered T3 mons in Guiding Lands are a really good source of MR and also efficient in that you get useful materials, so I'd really just recommend doing that.
Even quests.

just spam the deco event quest with zinogre. by the time youll get ♥♥♥♥ like attack+ youre mr 500+ for sure at the same time. 2 flys with 1 swatter.

Use HBG, use traps, and cheese the monsters for EZ wins. Use whatever methods equate to you killing the monsters as fast as possible, if you're farming in guiding lands, then use fortify for 50 minutes of doing more damage, etc. Use double wall bangs, traps, items, mantles, etc. Don't hold back. Dump the monsters like you're a high school jock hazing a nerdy weeaboo kid by dunking their head in a well used toilet that hasn't been flushed in a while. This is called "got gud".

If you get a good team together, and coordinate a strategy where everyone is on the same page, you could even give the monsters the team darkside treatment. Do stuff like dunk a tempered goldie in a couple minutes, if everyone runs HBG.

The question people should be asking themselves is "Am I doing practice runs, or farming runs?". If you're doing farming runs, then why waste time? Farming essentially means you've put the content on farm status, which means you've trivialized the challenge from the fight (in one way or another) and are only repeating it to get items or something else you need from it.

You can always practice after you get the items and gear you want. Learn a new weapon after you've already got the build completed, etc. That's what I do. I don't waste time using weapons with ♥♥♥♥ builds. Raging Brachy weapons are only marginally behind Safi in a lot of cases, so I made sets using Raging Brachy weapons for weapons and builds I don't play too often, but still like to do good damage with.

The gold grown quests are pretty good for it too, there’s 5 monsters but they all have a reduced health pool. If you have a friend and don’t care about mats you can just split up and each work through the monsters.

Pretty interesting to read you guys. But i'm not really looking for advices even if i appreciate it. I just want to know how YOU farm, and not how TO farm MR ^^'
