Furious rajang and charge blade
Em, I am at a loss here.
1) AED doesn't do much damage on him
2) savage axe too slow,
3) the sword has short reach and it's super dangerous to be that close to FR's face.

I watched youtube videos on CB users, but they are such psychos that rajang just doesn't get the chance to do anything.

RIght now, what I do is charge up savage axe, sheathe and run around, until there is a big arse opening, hit 1-2 times, sheathe and run around again. Feels kind of a boring playstyle.
But running after him with CB unsheathed is problmetic. He's always either too far away, when leaves an opening, or charging at me Superman's speed.

Any tips?

Dont be constantly unsheathed. Be ready to unsheath at a moment's notice.

i mean you can stay unsheathed if you got like an evasion mantle on. otherwise yeah, you'll wan the ability to dive away from him at a moments notice or when he calms down to be able to swing your savage axe at em.

Guard (at least level 3) + Guard Up?
If using a different weapon is an option, why not go for a crit-draw GS (hit n' run style)?

I don't like changing weapons. In any game I've ever played, I never changed class/weapon/talents to make fights easier. I change to easier stuff only after I do it properly with my "main".

that's what I do, but it's kind of a boring playstyle. To run around with chargeblade, as if I were wielding a greatsword.

You can clearly see that both AED and Savage Axe deal plenty of damage, all you have to do is just learn the openings and safe spots.

Furious Rajang has horrible elemental zones. Even his Ice weakness is only a 0.20 on his head, that's not enough for elemental discharge.

As for impact, he may have a reduction against that damage.

If you have a minds eye, you could try Y>B normal attack> shieldbash spam. And that can deal decent damage while giving you room to move out of the way quickly.

I just wait for an opening to tenderize his back-legs and then go to town on them. I don't bother with head unless I get a knockdown or there is no time to run up behind him.

I also use Safi Shattershield and damage on AED/SAED is comparable to other monsters.

Did you just say you dont change weapons to make fights easier while you are using a charge blade? Your almost as oblivious as a LS user mate. CB is like the second ez mode >.<

AED doesn't do enough damage in total considering that rajang moves too quickly and all over the place. If he's leaving an opening, AS I SAID IN MY FIRST POST, he is often far away. Running back to him in order to do AED takes too much time, so he would easily escape.

Savage axe does good amount of damage, but... ah, what the hell. Here:

This means you need to learn rajang a bit better, once you learn him, you can stay on top of him pretty well, even with a GS.

I know you're just being dumb or trolling, but I will explain one of the cool aspects of the MHW: each weapon has a monster that it will struggle with. Don't know why you're picking on LS or CB, cause I find that bowguns are an easy mode followed by GS and bow.

So, let me get it straight.
I ask: hey, any tips on how to fight rajang with CB? I am having troubles, such as...
Your response: Easy. You just gotta learn the fight.

How about ♥♥♥♥ off?

Honestly I would just not use charge blade against any version of Rajang unless you are going to track head damage and triplock like you're speedrunning. You don't really have good ways to punish openings that last the duration Rajang's openings do.

I really like greatsword (draw attacks until you head trip) or hunting horn, or of course you can just use sticky bowgun.

I will explain this to you. since you are obviously dumb. Charge Blade is one of the most versatile weapons in world. There is not a single monster I have had trouble with while using CB and Furious Rajang is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke when you use it.
What you lack is a certain thing called skill. If your going to be a jackass, ill throw it at you like it is. If you are having a hard time facing furious rajang with charge blade, i would recommend using LS since CB obviously is not you're forte.

so how about you actually take the time to learn the fight, or ♥♥♥♥ off your self you argumentative little prick.
