SA also works well, especially with zero sum discharge spam + mantle usage. Health regen augment. You don't need to spam it, but it does a lot of damage when he's running around aimlessly.
Rajang's animations went from very dangerous, but rewarding hits.. To now a very tanky, very fast, with some moves *literally* having zero wait between attacks. For a game that prides itself on the smooth transitions. Rajang sucks the fun out of it.
Coming from old-world rajang, his punishing moves are *Vastly* smaller, and the slower the weapon, the less valuable you are. With the new 'softening' mechanic, I really don't enjoy fighting Rajang.
He becomes much, much better for a defensive shield player, Sword and Shield bulds are good, Lance users get the best of him.
Light weapons have to trade off a ton, often bouncing off, and generally using temporal mantle to even soften the part..
Right now, Both Rajangs are doable, of course they are.. But very boring fights to me. Being insanely defensive instead of creating any openings, isn't fun for me. And Rajang's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, zero-telegraph moves are absolutely terrible,
You can learn this rajang's patterns, and its actually quite simple. If you can't learn it, its not because its impossible, its because you refuse to. If you refuse to learn something and complain about it, then git gud kinda applies. just putting that out there.
It's not dodging, It's the fact that you're pushed *hard* back into dodging, and there are no safe zones. Without equal benifit to the dangerous one.
If I couldn't dodge, I wouldn't even be able to fight Rajang, i'd be stonewalled back with first encounter Devil Jho.
There is nothing in this game that actively demands you to play in multiplayer except those few quests that are designed to be like that. Solo Rajang is much easier than in an average group.
You can also avoid most zero frame windup moves by not standing in front of him, or expecting them and rolling them.
