Is it me, or Rajang is too strong and fast?
In comparison to other titles this ape is ridiculously overpowered. His punches do more damage, including his projectiles, and his animations are faster. I tried every wep on this overpowere Ape, but no results. Does anyone know how to beat it? Rajang became a meme now...

It means you learn his patterns and opening.
Telling that to a someone who played previous mh titles and learned how to view to movement paterns on monsters, yeah that works on other species, but rajang I have to pass.
Try watching this. It's a good overview of how to dodge and counter rajang's attacks.

Best, most unique monster in the entire game IMO. He becomes a cakewalk once you figure out his move set and when to attack (like every other monster).

He's similar to Odo in that you just need to watch for attack patterns. Learn what attacks have long recoveries you can exploit and which ones chain into other attacks, and learn the tells for his fast, damaging moves.

You would think that a faster weapon would be better for Rajang, but it's somewhat the opposite, which seems intentionally designed. Great sword works really well against his tail, because you can draw attack with good damage, roll to cancel recovery, sheath, and then run away again. When he does his mouth beam, you can run up to him from the side and draw attack again. When he's down from a wallbang, GS then does huge damage to the head, which you have enough time for True Charged Slash and don't hit his flailing arms. From what I remember from speedruns, you might be able to repeatedly knock him down as he gets back up from a down by delaying the TCS a bit, but this will scale differently for various types of quests.

SA also works well, especially with zero sum discharge spam + mantle usage. Health regen augment. You don't need to spam it, but it does a lot of damage when he's running around aimlessly.

Reported again for name calling. Go back to APB. And enjoy your another community ban.
Common Twitch zoomer, nothing to see here just ignore them.
Well he seemed to be offtopic in a thread actually talks about something other than insults he made and I am just trying to make a favor for this commmunity before someone feds this troll. He isn't suitable here. And actually, by the thing you called to me, Idk if you are refering to the wrong person, neither I don't care about any of the situation.

It might have been worded poorly, my comment was directed at you to ignore the troll, not the other way around in case you thought that's what I intended.

I know you told me to avoid feeding a loser here, and i said "he seemed to be offtopic in a thread actually talks about something other than insults he made and I am just trying to make a favor for this commmunity before someone feds this troll."

Issue with Rajang - a near *demand* to play it in co-op.. He is *MUCH* easier if you have someone else to look at, other than you.. Solo-Rajang or even just Solo w/ Palico Rajang acts too fast for a game where all your attacks leave you just as open as him.. Much more so.

Rajang's animations went from very dangerous, but rewarding hits.. To now a very tanky, very fast, with some moves *literally* having zero wait between attacks. For a game that prides itself on the smooth transitions. Rajang sucks the fun out of it.

Coming from old-world rajang, his punishing moves are *Vastly* smaller, and the slower the weapon, the less valuable you are. With the new 'softening' mechanic, I really don't enjoy fighting Rajang.

He becomes much, much better for a defensive shield player, Sword and Shield bulds are good, Lance users get the best of him.

Light weapons have to trade off a ton, often bouncing off, and generally using temporal mantle to even soften the part..

Right now, Both Rajangs are doable, of course they are.. But very boring fights to me. Being insanely defensive instead of creating any openings, isn't fun for me. And Rajang's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, zero-telegraph moves are absolutely terrible,

It sounds like the issue isnt that it needs to be MP, its that you cant dodge.

And also, if for you "gid gud" means "It means you learn his patterns and opening." to you, then you must be mistaken, and instead you should be more direct by just saying look at his "movement paterns". Git gud is another way to taunt or berate to someone you you think its not good at the game, check urban dictionary. Btw,It's just a special assignment so, why should I do it, If i find Yian Garuga more easy than Rajang.

You can learn this rajang's patterns, and its actually quite simple. If you can't learn it, its not because its impossible, its because you refuse to. If you refuse to learn something and complain about it, then git gud kinda applies. just putting that out there.

It's not dodging, It's the fact that you're pushed *hard* back into dodging, and there are no safe zones. Without equal benifit to the dangerous one.

If I couldn't dodge, I wouldn't even be able to fight Rajang, i'd be stonewalled back with first encounter Devil Jho.

Mind's Eye makes you not bounce, and Lance is a pretty average matchup at best because the slam is a multihit i.e. your guard will break if you don't have guard 5 and a lot of stamina left. You do not need to soften his arms as hitting the head suffices, and one tenderize you can get in at the start easily.
There is nothing in this game that actively demands you to play in multiplayer except those few quests that are designed to be like that. Solo Rajang is much easier than in an average group.
You can also avoid most zero frame windup moves by not standing in front of him, or expecting them and rolling them.

I didn't refuse as you perceived that way. Did you checked the answer that I marked on the thread?

Just because you pick an answer does not mean you magically change mate.
