Is it me, or Rajang is too strong and fast?

In comparison to other titles this ape is ridiculously overpowered. His punches do more damage, including his projectiles, and his animations are faster. I tried every wep on this overpowere Ape, but no results. Does anyone know how to beat it? Rajang became a meme now...

There are 2 ways to kill rajang. You either git gud or you cheese the absolute sh!t out of him with sticky bowgun.

To be honest someone without thumbs at all might be able to pull it off on keyboard and mouse

Telling that to a someone who played previous mh titles and learned how to view to movement paterns on monsters, nice. Yeah that works on other species, but with rajang I have to pass. And also, if for you "gid gud" means "It means you learn his patterns and opening." to you, then you must be mistaken, and instead you should be more direct by just saying look at his "movement paterns". Git gud is another way to taunt or berate to someone you you think its not good at the game, check urban dictionary. Btw,It's just a special assignment so, why should I do it, If i find Yian Garuga more easy than Rajang.

A primate could kill Rajang (or anything) with stickies, it doesn't take any skill.
Also his hitzones are not bad, and Hammer can keep him down pretty easily. The problem comes from having to hit the tail I imagine, but unless he's tempered you can facetank him pretty easily, that's what I did/do.

Rajang is easily the monsters with the smallest delay between each attack. Adding in that he does A LOT of damage too.

There is a reason he's the only normal monster that when he's tempered he drops Greater Spiritvein gem. This is only otherwise dropped by Tempered Elder Dragons.

If you're in a group of friends, someone should be using Sticky because it does knock him off his feet quite a bit.

Well seems you just gotta adjust from old Jang to new Jang. You have to be aggressive and aim ahead of his moves to catch him, no more hindlegs for days. He is very much different so you shouldn't be discouraged if it doesn't work that well in the beginning.

He's not the only one bazel jho metal raths and stygian all drop them

Think it's just normal progress in action games. Players get better, their equipment gets better, so the developers keep making the enemies faster and harder to hit to introduce more challenge. Early vanilla monsters are extremely passive and moving in slow motion compared to most of Iceborne where Rajang won't stop zooming around the map with active hitboxes and little to no recovery after attacks.

He's faster but so are we. You'll find a wide array of people who've killed it with any weapon and any style under the sun, it's not a case of it being too hard or OP, it's a case of getting over that mindset and just taking your time and approaching it slowly and deliberately. Poke him and hit him when you can and wait for his openings. For example: When angry he'll spam his beam instead of the faster lightning ball which is a big opening.
