i normally hate playing with controller myself but this game is a 10000000000000000000x pain in the ass with kb/m. Its near impossible to play.
Its far easier with controller.
to me, the biggest bout of insanity of all this is how they changed slinger's shooting to no longer be the same key as ranged weapons have for firing. You know. Mouse Left Click. Like, literally any other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game in existence on PC with aiming shooting mechanics.
and if I change that key, I can do that and remove the Draw Weapon but, uh oh! It's also Stitched together to the Ranged Weapon fire! WHY!? What is the relation between drawing out your weapon and Ranged Weapon Fire!?
No actually I know why, it's because if you're Not using the Slinger, that's how you always Draw your weapon, so the actual question is different... Why did they make it so you Can Draw your weapon, While using the Slinger?
I don't know about you, but I'd Much rather go back to how it was before and just decide, "I want to stop using the slinger, so instead of directly drawing my weapon, I'll just stop holding the slinger button, or pressing the one that disables it".
Also, the Clutch Claw has literally nothing to do with it, the Clutch claw attack doesn't even exist when you're aiming and firing with your Slinger alone, it just latches you on to a monster. and the action isn't even there in the keybinds with ranged weapon fire. and the key is also Mouse Left Click... which while in slinger, it's used for drawing your weapon, in case you forgot.
My problem is using the clutch claw on M&KB when I switch between melee and bowgun.
I ALWAYS confuse my controls since, for some reason, clutch claw is not the same for bowgun and melee.
