PSA: Soul Stream 2 is a trap

I melded over 1000 tempered bones and got absolutely nothing of value. Don't use this, just farm tempered zinogre event quest or do t3 investigations. Soul Stream 2 is worthless crap. You are better off using all your tempered solidbones to meld materials like dash juice or mega demondrug.

Nothing else to spend bones to meld with than this tbh? Meld your Steam tickets into Dash Juices and drugs, you'll have billions of those after a bit of steamworks.

It's more for the missing small to large decorations instead of actual good ones so your attack boosts, tenderizer, crit eye, crit boost, flawless, shield, mighty bow, etc. For extra large decorations, the tempered zinogre event quest is probably the best.

I mean, I haven't been able to get a release/vitality decoration and this a r11 one. I know many other good players, and not one of them got anything of value by melding. I think it's just a waste of time. These bones give you 100 points, they are way more valuable as melding material.

It gives regular Carved feystones. Check Kiranico for decoration rates from Carved feystones.

The tempered Zinogre event is largely identical to Soul Stream 2 since it only gives a single Sealed Feystone (plus a tiny chance at more) per run and otherwise mainly gives Carved Feystones.

Yeah, in theory it may be so, but I have been farming the zinogre quest with a group for some hours and we instantly got expert 4, attack 4 and release/vitality. Maybe it's all a coincidence but I think zinogre quest yields way better decos than elder melder.

Expert+ and Attack+ are Sealed Feystone drops only, and you got enormously lucky if you got those from The Wrath of Thunder Descends.

If you want the best decos, just do MR T3 tempered investigations, it gives them faster than Wrath of Thunder.

We got that in a group of 4 people which raises the chances, but still, must really be our luck I guess. I just need 2 release/vitality r11 decos urgently, got almost everything else, except for handicraft 4.

Even with my relative luck I still hate this game's rng. Huge respect to everybody who keeps playing even if their vital decos just won't drop. Capcom shoud give us a better deco farming quest, like Lavasioth in base game.
