Skill notification spam...
Maximum might finally broke me, I can't take it anymore. The little chime over and over... The constant movement out of the corner of my eye rendering me blind to the meaningful notifactions...

How do it shuteth the ♥♥♥♥ up? I guess this skill has a hidden requirement that you play without game sounds. SERIOUSLY, I'm having a reaction here. Every time I tap the sprint key.

I mean I'll just not use it now that I know, but there isn't a way to shut these off? Unreal.

TL:DR Maxium might is unplayable with sound on, forget that it's not even good.

This is a mod for the sound itself: MHW Audio Modding Tool [www.nexusmods.com] or RingingBloom[github.com] replace sys_ui_cmn.nbnk (I think that's the file, not 100%)

Last thing I can think of for sound is if someone is running a system wide audio compressor messing with the intended audio balance of the game.

For your average person wondering: audio stuff like this can drive a neurodivergent person insane. So I'm glad that tools like these exist if for at least that reason.

Maximum Might? Add Peak Performance to that. As well as Resentment. Constant dining sound.

oh oooh oooh! And get divine protection and use it against Vaal hazak!

Maximum Might only triggers the regular system notification sound, and the message doesn't spam if you repeatedly meet the requirements.

Skills like Peak Performance, Agitator, Divine Protection, etc trigger a different sound that will always notify when it procs.

You can try changing your in game audio setting "Dynamic Range" to "Wide Range". The notification sound gets softened compared to others with that setting.

Or you can ask google (I pulled this up in a 10 second search) Active Skill Popup Removal [www.nexusmods.com]. It's dated but should work. If you try it out let us know if it does.

That always bugs me. Divine Protection proc very often against small attacks but rarely against heavy hitting attacks.

I did see the mod as well. I didn't try it myself but from what I gleaned on the comments, I'd rather just not use the skill than have it remove the border of the other notifications. I might cave eventually if I really want an armor piece.

This skill isn't a problem in combat when everything else is going on, it's a problem when i'm havin a quiet moment in between hunts and it keeps pinging me for taking half a sprint step to the next gathering node.

I've had all the other skill notifications too, divine blessing barely registered mid combat for me, maximum might is the one that finally broke me lol.

it makes a noise?

Wow I must have muted that, Along with the annoying assed NPC's a LOONGG time ago.

It's not even loud, but it is audible outside combat, and I'm a freak about these things sometimes.

They went pretty far on options and the ability to disable UI elements in this game, they even have colorblind options, though admittedly those are never actually better for my particular brand of red/green deficiency, at least the effort is there.

Someone had to be aware that their chat spam for skill activations was gonna annoy some of us, but no options made it into the game, and from searching for a solution I noticed it's a problem for some in Rise too. Haven't played it myself yet, so I have that to look forward to lol.

they probably muted their settings early on and forgot that it's a QOL that neededto be addressed later on because it didnt bother them anymore
