PS4 TOUCHPAD WORKS AS A MOUSE

I tried to disable Steam input, but I don't know what to do anymore. My touchpad settings changed with an update...

I just unassigned my touchpad with nothing when they acted like right sticks.

With your controller connected, before you launch the game, click on the settings icon on the right side of the banner in your library and go to controller configuration and change it there. you dont need to disable steam input, keep it enabled and edit this config so the touchpad does something else

But how can I set the toouchpad to open the map?

It doesn't work, I set my track pad to do nothing and still works as a mouse

It doesn't work, I set my track pad to do nothing and still works as a mouse

make sure the config is enabled and youre using it
the trackpad counts as 3 buttons, left, right, and centre, make sure you change all of them.

IIRC the "select" button is what opens the map, or otherwise it might be tab or M or something on keyboard.
Either disable all the touchpad buttons and make them do nothing, or set to 'single button' -> the select button, or some keyboard press instead

personally i ignore the trackpad myself and just have the share button open the map, the little button on the left of the trackpad

The trackpad still works as a mouse, but now at least can use select as the map.
