I believe that's about how long it takes to emulate a game.
So I heard.
Blizzard has a popular story. Fans begged Blizzard to bring back Vanilla wow again. At a blizcon a fan asked the head of Blizzard if they will be releasing classic wow, he got insulted by the head of Blizzard saying 'you might think you want that, but you dont want that, trust me'
Fans were able to re-create an early version of Vanilla WoW. People played via private servers. It was fairly popular. It was shut down with a cease & desist.
I believe about 6 months after it was shut down at the next blizcon it was announced that classic wow was coming.
It's ok if you love a game. But don't love a compnay.
Sounds like a systemic issue.
