rotten vale grimalkyne
i saw the lynian researcher once and i tried waiting for a while but odogaron didnt appear and he wasn't listed as a monster on the map so i ended the expedition and went back and and now there's no lynian researcher or odogaron on the map. will waiting the the spot at the nest work anyway if i wait long enough?

You need to be in a low rank expedition with the lynian researcher and odogaron on the map. If you do not meet all 3 of these requirements, then don't bother trying for the grimalkyne there. Keep hopping between locales to refresh what is on the maps until you get what you need.
