A little gripe I have with Fatalis
It can't be just me but, does it seem like for anyone else that his roars and what not are way too quiet when compared to other Monsters like Safi'jiiva and Alatreon?? Hell sometimes when he does a roar animation no roar comes out at all... And it's kind of weird that alot of his roars kind of lack weight outside of the cutscene sound effects such as the growl and cutscene roar.

Cause Fatalis' roars aren't his strength. His, yknow, melting everything with hellfire, is his strength.

Lul my gripe is after playing against AT velk, fatalis feels like crawling through mud. Velk you can keep up the pace the entire hunt due to no gimmic mechanics. Fatalis has anti melee spammable slow crawls forward where hitboxes are behind its hindlegs most the time for no reason. The hind legs should always be a safe zone on his slow charges. Idgaf he can keep his fast charge. But you tell me when he spams a slow squirm charge 6 times in a row how it makes you feel. Sure as ranged you're like yeeehawww but for the other 11 weapon types its an abomination of a move and absolute laziness. They could take the move out of his set entirely and I'm sure people would enjoy his fight more.

He's a silent killer.

I'm just imagining Fatalis with a quiet soft spoken Loli voice.

i think there's a few minor bugs in his fight lol, roaring without sound being one of them

Wrong. His tail is his strength. One little twitch and you're dead.

Imagine how much mass that tail have, that a small twitch can break 50% of your bones and send you flying

I like to imagine it's actually a bunch of wigglers wearing a Fatalis costume and the muffled roar is just one of them with a microphone, 'Wizard of Oz' style. :steammocking:

Because it's the other thing that come out of Fatalis's mouth that you should worry about: fire.

The purity of this thing. He's a typical western dragon, but the purity of it. Unlike other dragons with rays and flashy gimmicks, like Safi or Alatreon, Fatalis needs nothing but fire. Power in its most primal form. Fire, but oh boy, it's FIRE.

Also, I want Fatalis's lungs. WTF are they made of. WMD right there.

For real, I want to sever that thing. I know you can't, but being able to do so would greatly increase the safety of being behind him. That being said, you'd probably cart seven times attempting to do so from how insane the hitbox and damage output of his tail is.

You already have a migraine fighting him. Loud noises make it worse.

Fatalis isn't the loudest, nor is he the biggest, or even potentially the most destructive. There may be monsters out there that have a much higher potential destructive output, with a fully grown Dalamadur and Fatalis' cousin, Dire Miralis, being potent contenders. Fatalis, however, is characterized by his hatred for humanity. Sure, an adult Dalamadur, Miralis, and Fatalis threaten all who live, but only the Fatalis trio focuses on destroying humanity specifically.
I agree I thought it was really weird he makes that screeching roar in the cutscene and then never does it again until phase 3 when he uses his 360 attack. I was really disappointed by that, especially considering he made a similarly screechy roar (and my favourite roar in the series) as his normal roar in the older games :(
