Demon Mode in Dual Blades bugged or what am I doing wrong?

When I activate Demon mode the red light flashing around my avatar only stays for 1 second and then turns off again. It is not like that in training mode in my room. It stay on as long as I have stamina. But when fighting mobs are hardly can ever activate it. Sometimes when I hit a monster immediately after activating it works for one hit. I have watched some videos about it and in these videos the demon mode is activated for a long time and fills up the archdemon meter. I tried activating it with mouse button as well as ´keboard setting. Always stays only for 1 sec.

Any help would be appreciated.

It should just be working as a toggle as long as you have the stamina to maintain it.

I'm having this problem too, I think it's to do with the back triggers on controller? Because I tried using heavy bowgun after dual blades weren't working, and I can only aim for a second before it automatically put the weapon away

I just tested with Holy Guild Knight, and demon mode works as intended until stamina runs out. Blades held downward, and moveset changes.
