Iceborn DLC questions
I have quite a few questions about "Iceborn DLC and is it worth it?"

first of all, if i buy "Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Deluxe Kit" will i get Iceborn DLC with it or only hair and armor from iceborne deluxe kit

how much content does Iceborn DLC has? any new abilities?

how hard the DLC is? i have heard that many people complain about the DLC being very difficult

what Iceborn edition should i buy? the original one or deluxe or master or what?

The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Deluxe Kit is just the cosmetics. It does not include the Iceborne expansion.

Iceborne more than doubles the game's content. It's a must-have if you enjoyed the base game. Full new story, new town, new locale, new monsters, monster variants, new moves for every weapon, raider rides, clutch claw mechanic, and more.

It's harder than the base game, but nothing a skilled hunter can't overcome.

Since you already have the base game, just buying the expansion on its own will do, unless you specifically like the cosmetics that the deluxe edition offers.

NO ... lke, GIANT no .... stick with the base game and do not even purchase the dlc.

The DLC doesn't add " new content ". It mainly reuses stuff from the past, animations that do not work with Monster Hunter World movement and physic engine changes,

AND, the difficulty only serves to force you to either grind for months, or play with "friends" ... friends quote unquote, because rather than them helping you, YOU are made to help THEIR need to have their time invested validated and to show off their weapons you do not have access to.

For the love of Akatosh, do not touch the DLC. The base game is perfect as it is in my opinion, and the DLC is just 5 percent of actual new stuff, that you are better of just watching on Youtube.

The new "maps" are tiny and even reuse past biomes ... the transmog and layered armor destoryes immersion and is yet again locked behind days of grind.

Don't mind Zarod. They just have a bad case of buyer's remorse after suffering from a massive skill issue. Their review says it all.

Most of the time they release an expansion with master ranks basicly, and they'll 100% do that with wilds too. It's a huge content pretty much doubling everything in game and here with iceborn they even added new weapon moves. That's why these expansion usually cost almost as much as the base game. It's definitly worth it.

I just soloed AT velkhana with my own build.

I have beaten the game, and even after that, I am ashamed and embarassed for both the Capcpm creative directors and you people that enable such needlessly gating and hostile game design.

Which would be even fine, if you were honest, but of course, how can you prey on unsuspecting people without fake trailers and hiding what the game actually feels to play.

I don't need to discredit your position or person to prove my position ... the game does it by itself ...

You should buy it if you liked the base game and want more of it. If you're new to Monster Hunter, play base game first and don't invest in both. I love the series, but for newcomers it's often hit or miss.

Theres always the Monster Hunter discords as well if you need things from certain parts of endgame.
Plenty of people have asked for others in helping get certain parts of monsters on the steam forums.

As for OP, it is very worth it, so long as your mind set is always a "if i get frustrated, I will keep trying, but have breaks in between".

To add to this, it's rare to find an actually good Discord for MH. IMHGH doesnt play, and they have like, 60k people. One is a cryptobro Discord, another is a money making scheme where if youre not active for like, 6 hours youre kicked. One I joined, a mod was on a power trip and banned me for making military jokes with some military chick (ie Chair Force). MH Discords nowadays seem to be for everything but MH. The Hunter Hub is the only place ive found that actually has people regularly playing not just World but Rise and Stories as well, but it's a pain in the ass to get in with their authentication.
