When does Yian Garuga Armor appear so I can make some?

Is this something that is only available toward the end of the game? I see right now its not on my master list to forge. I was thinking that all of the armor shows but its just blacked out, but the name isnt even on my list anywhere. I have Icebourne and am pretty far along.

Not sure how much of the game I have left. Im at the point where I have to go to the Coral Highlands for an elder dragon, not sure what it is. I am guessing it might be the Namielle, which I havent seen yet either.

I like those Yian Garuga beta gloves, for the earplugs +2 and a +4 slot for decorations.

you need to reach guiding land for that, a bit far if you go casual play

Yian Garuga shows up in level 2 forest in the Guiding Lands. The Guiding Lands open up after the main story.

3. You also get its assigned quest as well. Once that's done, he is available anytime.

There are also 3 event quests with Yian as main target that you can play at MR24.

Thanks all. I will just keep playing through then. Ive got pretty decent equipment now already. Shouldnt be too bad.

Yeah those gloves are so good because they appear later in the game.
As mentioned, after the main quest you gain access to "The Guiding Lands", progressing there will unlock the first quest with this beaky.

Just finished the main part of the game, killed the last boss and the Nergigante came back and killed it the 2nd time. Perhaps this is the new area.
