This implies you're playing in a group. I would understand if you would be struggling solo, you need to be decently good to clear that fight solo. But in a group? You have no excuse. You guys need to pick up the slack, if you're not killing Alatreon before the third escaton judgement then you're playing very poorly.

At least that's what I assume you meant, as it's literally not possible to to die to the attack if you've managed to reduce it's power THREE TIMES. Which is what what you actually wrote...

Stop skilling for so much elemental damage. You know she's 86% resistant to her weakest element and like 25% resistant to raw? You only need enough elemental damage for one element break to not die.

I think they have enough elemental dmg but not enough damage to kill him and this is weird. :D

Breaking the horn only stops it from switching element for *that* cycle. You get 2 horn breaks total before that fight is effectively lost. You *gotta* kill it before it can successfully change element.

If you broke the horn twice, and survived 2-3 supernovas, you can probably get this in the bag.

Also true, speaking as someone who could probably get this sub-10 if he got hit less and put more damage in his build :v Dual blades, Kjarr, full safi. It's absolutely doable building a hell of a lot of element.

(though that would probably depend on what weapon you're using!)

You just need more damage. Three escatons are basically an 18+ minute hunt. He should be at the very least close to death then.

One of your group members needs to step up their game and be more aggressive. Either that, or they need more offensive skills in their set. It will absolutely help.

It doesn't have to be all of them, just a bit more so the fight doesn't take long enough and your weapon ends up useless.

You got this. If you are toppling him consistently, you should have no trouble taking him down with a couple more tries and following my earlier advice.

Someone aint doing enough damage then. If you want, you can assign one person to play insect glaive with an elemental fortisax kinsect. Even on a 4 player hunt, one IG player is enough to pass the check, and everyone else can run raw DPS to blitz down alatreon before the last nova.

with that gear you can solo in less than 10 minutes.
