They're working on Strive now so I assume this game is done with the last patches making events rotate and whatnot. Last new thing we got was the movie stuff. People were hoping for AT Safi and/or AT Shara, but guess not.
or in this case, better to end on a high note than to last long enough to become as bad as dauntless.
They're saying nothing can top fatalis gear, like how AT velk was dropped at the same time as fatalis just to be a useless (in a sense) kind of armor.
Anything else would end up being super strong, stronger than fatalis, or useless, like the Artemis set (for endgame)
This, however, is more a loss to capcom more than it is to us, in which they would never do again.
Idk the population of Monster Hunter Frontier, but it seems like it was a loss in profit as they closed it down just a couple years ago iirc

And anything stronger than Fatalis would have to be insane. T3 hunts are already like 3-4 min long solo, anything lower and it'd feel like HR.
I just wish Strive would hurry up and drop already. ;_;
I guess it comes down to personnal preferences but I'd rather they keep coming up with new themes and mechanics to keep the experience fresh rather than have the same game going on forever until it feels completly dull.
Also if it was an ongoing service it would either have a subscription fee or some kind of gross microtransaction model.
If you're not interested in Rise you'll probably have to wait for the next game that should be some kind of "MHW2" or something in a couple of years.
All events are up
MH games traditionally only have one big expansion. Then the team moves on to the next game.
