That should make turning off antialiasing outright better when that doesn't contribute to the blurriness. Since frankly, jagged edges still exist with TAA on, and everything's just blurrier.
Of course, do as above poster stated too. And make sure you do have the high resolution texture pack installed and enabled.
Otherwise, it's really a combination of increasing resolution more and perhaps sitting further away from your screen. Perhaps a better monitor too.
Don't think various hardware changes, nevermind third party software alternatives, would ever fix an issue that will always exist if you look closely enough though.
Using in game sharpening helps make the game look better as well. I have it set to a low value, it improves the look of a lot of textures and helps a bit with jagged edges too. Or, again, you can use sharpening options in reshade too, they are pretty good. Honestly you should install reshade anyway, it's a great tool and you're not losing anything by having it, even if you don't use it.
No it does not. reshade doesn't even affect the game's existing files. It's just adds an additional, purely visual layer on top of what you already have. It's a must for me for any game that works well with it, once you get used to it and what it offers it's hard to play without it. You can make just about any game look more to your liking, often at close to no performance cost.
World did something with one of the updates that broke the official implementation of reshade, the author never bothered to fix it officially so the community made an unofficial injector that allows the game to properly load it. You'll need to download it and run the game with it if you want reshade to work, don't worry the online and achievements work normally with it.
