Anyone using non gaming laptop to play this game?
Hello hunters,

Just wondering, is there anyone using non gaming laptop (aka potato laptop) to play this game?

Mind sharing your settings to have a smooth 30fps and playable? :')

This is my laptop spec
AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with Radeon Graphics 2.38 GHz
8.00 GB RAM

my laptop use APU to process the graphics lol ...

(im saving up to own a gaming laptop, but currently if there is anyone with the same spec or approximate and have smooth 30fps, if you can share me your settings and how to get to 30fps, it will be very much appreciated :D)

One thing that helps for sure is to turn off Volumetric Fog. This will remove useless fog in some areas and the game may even look better with that.

This. Got me like another 10 FPS on Steam Deck. I think the game looks a little better with the fog, but it's not a huge difference either way. However, the fog costs way too much in terms of FPS.

It would help if you could get to 16GB and try to set your shared gpu memory to 4GB. There are also low res texture packs, lowering the image/screen resolution and the like that I used to play this game on an old 6th gen i5 and 940mx.

You could tell us the model number of the laptop for an even better idea of what you can and cannot do with your current hardware.

actually

in any case, is there any alternative to monster hunter world except rise

the main point that i love mhw is because it help me to release my stress and frustration from my life, especially holding the hammer to booonnnkkkk on the monster head and face is so satisfying for me ... LOL

so if there is other alternative to it, that would be good :)
