[Dual Daggers] How to do the Levi Spin Attack?
Hello,

New player here.
I'm trying to understand how to reliably execute the Levi Spin Attack, with Dual Daggers.

One way I found is to jump off a ledge in Demon mode, then simply attack the monster.
Howether, it seems to be possible to do it from the ground, as seen in this video, at 11 seconds :

The guy seems to do an uppercut, get in the air, then use the Levi move.
How to do it?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

You can jump from a higher platform and execute this easily, pretty sure its the Y button - heavy attack button that does it auto. Also there's a skill that makes you go upwards(uppercut). Try it in training grounds

Thanks.
Does the skill require a specific dual dagger?
I can't find a way to use it.

No, Check the manual for weapon controls for dual blades, try them out and you will see one combo, that does the uppercut. After that you can connect with the Levi spin attack with normal attack button. The gimmick is you need to be in Air to perform this spin attack with just X,Y attack button (from xbox controller perspective)

He is likely cheating and using a mod. You can get to that attack by sliding down a hill in Demon Mode then hitting attack. However, that person is going into a slide on a flat surface, which I do not believe is possible normally.

The only way to activate this ability is to land a mid-air attack on a monster with your dual blades. It will then automatically do this. But you have to be in the air. You can get into the air either by hopping off a ledge, or sliding down a slope then attacking from said sliding position. It'll automatically do this after you initiate an attack from the air.

that's a modded moveset. DB can't do that attack unless you wind up airborne or off of ledge sliding

It is, however, possible to do this in rise, and makes almost any large monster a breeze...i should not have picked DB to start with in rise, made that game far too easy.

If I recall both sliding or climbing a surface and then jumping off let you do this. You will now its the right surface if your character essentially just wallruns up instead of actually climbing.

Sliding while in demon or using dash step off a ledge while in demon is easiest to trigger it, just hit attack while you're about to hit the tail or leg. You won't get it the monster isn't in the right angle to give you the full body length ride.

Not sure if it was possible to get it with glider mantle by using clutch claw then letting go? I might be thinking of just regular jump attack there.

You can play like that in Monster Hunter Rise without a mod.
