Playing on MAC M1 M2 M3
ust for the rest of MAC users, I want to inform you that you can play the game using Whisky.

To make it work, you need to install Whisky, create a Windows bottle, install the Windows Steam client there, and then install the game.

The game runs at 70+ fps on 2k resolution with high textures, and everything else turned off. I followed some guides for graphics, making the game look awesome at a stable 50-60 fps.

Caveats:

1) The game takes a long time to load.
2) Retina mode in Whisky makes Steam windows very small.
3) DO NOT TURN ON DX12 in the game. If you did, then delete game graphics configs and revalidate game files.
4) If the controller doesn't work, you probably need to turn off the Steam controller translation layer off or whatever it is called.

You can also make it work using Apple GPTK, but it's a pain in the ass not only because you need to be comfortable with the terminal but also because GPTK builds take 30 minutes or more on M1 Pro.

I hope this information helps, and happy hunting.

What is your mac specs? I managed to play the game not that long ago just fine. I have m1 pro 16gb. Make sure game runs on DX11. You can add -dx11 launch option or something (I dont remeber all the specifics). You can try changing windows version for bottle. Also you can try to ask for help on Whisky official discord channel https://discord.gg/whisky-1115955071549702235
