B) you only see lobbies of your own region (you can change your steam download region even while in the game, no need to restart steam or the game, and the search will adapt to the new region)
C) tons of private lobbies because people can not be bothered randoms joining their missions. I prefer not "wasting" a few seconds every single time when I start an hunt (well, you can always make it "accept only" or however it's called)
Yeah, I wanted to get back into the game, doing Kulve and Safi sieges. But thats very hard in an empty lobby, or amongst people doing different quests. And its the fact that the game somehow is hitting 100k people that makes that so weird.
People talk sh*t about Rise but there I am always able to find available rooms and play with people easily. Not a fan of how World handled online play
I'm in master rank and find SOS lobbies pretty easily in all the ranks lower than me.
I don't remember if the multiplayer is region based or not, but that could be why.
Rarely for me. I'm HR 800 n MR 400. Niet, nada.
Short answer: Mostly, no.
However, if a questpreference is set on a perticular Monster (Alatreon, Fatalis, Safi, Kulve etc.) then usually people tend to farm that perticular monster together. Then It is kinda irritating when people take up space.
If you quick joined with default settings, it's a general purpose lobby. You can do anything you want. You don't need to wait in the quest loading for people to join, just start and fire off an SOS.
If you searched for a specific type of lobby, like for a specific siege, then you should only do the relevant quest.
You can see the lobby info in the player list.
Yeah, but I'm also talking about joining sessions with dedicated people. Most sessions I can join are filled with lowrank people. Not anything wrong with that, it's just odd considering theres a 100k people online. Some must surely be veterans coming back during the Wilds-hype. I don't know, it's just weird.
Maybe. Wasnt like that before though.
