Radial menu type...

I have searched a dozen topics on how to change from radial menu to keyboard menu and they all say its a simple hit ESC > and in the first option list , it is there to change from "radial to keyboard" - this option does not exist for me, why is it not there?

All I have is "customize radial menu" above "equipment info" and that does nothing but lets me customize BOTH radial and keyboard menus - but so far I cannot change what system I want to use...

All righty, so:
If you're in-game> press ESC > click on the 2 cog wheel symbol > options > keyboard shortcut input.
Check out those settings. This changes whether you automatically select an item from the radial menu or whether it shows the keyboard radial menu to press a number again to choose your item etc.

Now, for the "keyboard radial menu" to work by default. You just have to press 1-8 and it should bring up the option for whatever radial menu is selected.

To change the radial menu selected: press F1-F4 you can rebind these settings if you'd like.
When pressing CTRL or ALT (I think that's it by default though I might be wrong) you can press G to rotate through the original radial menu's then just press and hold your scroll wheel button to select an item that way.

So I set radial menu settings, keyboard shortcut input and Item control setting in the order of type 1 , type 2 then type 3. that disabled my ctrl key to bring up the radial menu (yay) and seems type 2 is what made it keyboard only, thanks!

Not sure if some patch changed how you do that awhile back, but its more difficult and not really clear how to switch between the two.

(edit) I had to leave it as type 1, type 2, type 1. having that last one type 3 actually disabled using my mouse wheel for the item bar...

well, glad you got it to work in the end! Other than that, just need to get used to it. I still use the old console radial menu with the scroll wheel because I'm used to it but occasionally just use the shortcut keys that I rebound to T/V/B/Z for comfort. Good hunting!
