An overhaul driven by community feedback and suggestions. Has some nice QOLs on top of no clagger and tenderizing not being required.
There is a lot more to it, of course. You would have to read the actual mod for more deets.
Thank you for this example.
Like a haha joke or a this is overpowered joke?
Lots of mods work with vanilla online but sadly ICE isn't that modular.
They didn't "buff" HBG. It is severely nerfed from base game and also way harder to play. As it stands right now ICE mod is just the brother to Sunbreak for gunner balance, where everyone and their mom thinks HBG is broken when LBG has been genuinely blatantly overpowered for like 7 games now and Bow being the shy cousin in the corner that is literally gamebreaking but no one talks about it. LBG is OP AF is this mod, way stronger than HBG ever was. The hyper armor melee (basically Rise tackle) is really nice for the HBG but as far as I'm aware it doesn't have built in damage reduction, so it's pretty limited in application outside of a good replacement to roar countering now that shield is dead.
The only good thing this mod did for HBG was minor Wyvernsnipe buffs (both specials still kind of suck) and the well deserved normal, cluster, slicing, and wyvern ammo buffs. HBG comes out at the very best net neutral with this mod, but is much harder to play properly and is now a full on evade extender/tackle weapon like Rise.
Secondly. Any sort of non-gameplay mods won't affect multiplayer in a meaningful way (i.e. cosmetic). Game uses all the data for character-related stuff (Weapon movesets, attack, skills and their values, armor defense\slots, etc.). from CLIENT'S side, NOT host's. So if you have 10000 attack weapon and you join someone else's quest - you are still going to be using 10000 attack weapon - and dealing corresponding amounts of damage. (Btw, iron 1 10000 attack weapons is the most common cheat mod that you'll see people use online due to how obvious it is).
And thirdly.. OP asked people here if they play with ICE or without it due to first point.
