Break the paws, he will get easier. You will probably still hate him but he will be easier.

Sever the tail first, I think it reduces the size of his spinning attack's hitbox by a bit.
Bring flash pods and 10 flashbugs for when he charges and when he gets pissed.
Your palico's flash gadget might be helpful here. Comes with a trap.
Always try to deal mount damage here and there. Abuse wallbanging and traps as well.
When he starts his charge and he raises his right arm way up, don't think you can just roll under there, you'll get hit. The hitbox's f#cked.
Get ready to superman dive his spinning attack finisher once he's charged three times. May charge once more and then spin.
If you can't seem to hit him when he's charging, just focus on sprinting away. He tires relatively quickly anyway, which leads him to trip and fall during a charge.
Having said that, exhaust weapons are great against him. Poison slows him down as well.

He's annoying, but he's doable.

I don't think breaking his forelimbs does anything concrete, compared to Barioth. Maybe he gets tired faster, I don't know.

You get one trip for each leg but the hingelegs have bad hzv. The front ones also have the smallest flinch value.

He will get a bit tired for breaking the front limbs, yea. i don’t know how much compared with the tail which eats a lot of monster stamina.

I believe he will also runs less but it could be just my feel and not a real thing (or the flinch). Definitely not the clumsiness that we get from Barioth, I agree.

Tigrex is long and wide in all dimensions, pierce ammo does well in that fight. It's not an ammo issue, just general positioning you probably struggle with. That type of monster which also includes fellas like Nargacuga and Barioth often give people some trouble due to their speed, which combined with their still large size and long tails can make it difficult to find a safe spot in close proximity.

Go for spread HBG build bud. Block all unblockable attack with shield jewewl and take guard 5 for that down bad no stamina chip.

Make sure you do a "Wounding attack" with the clutch claw on monsters like him and nargacuga. That was my issue I always went for a snipe when they got tired and forgot to tenderize them. It makes life easier for bow gunners. Every attachment I do is always 1 power barrel and the rest shields. It lets you knock down the monster by hitting it in the face with sticky ammo 1's.
