Consult the chart: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/175522979642343424/812808758697918464/Deco_Guide.png?ex=65a30aa5&is=659095a5&hm=b9e7e82fdc7ebb8f2ba8ccd8cea8071ce7264c43935616a1201ab41408d593f4&

Though the usual recommendation is not to bother with deco farming early on. You'll get plenty along the way through Iceborne, and better farming options after the story.

For the smaller decorations from base game, The Name's Lavasioth is still one of the best ways to farm them. The flowchart recommends melding which is about the worst way to do it imo because of how mind-numblingly boring it is, and you still get garbage rates anyway.

use the doohickey, Otherwise, just farm tempered investigations, the event for fighting greatest Jagras is also amazing for getting tier a good base of jewels going

The greatest jagras is the easiest no risk mission. Jump in, fatten up jaggy, let him vomit, collect, repeat. When your inventory is full return from expedition, 40 low rank jewels. There's no need to ever land a single hit or get into range. Exhaust ammo may help to get him eating more so there can be more vomit loot? I dunno.

Decoration farming are a little hard to acquire when replaying the game as you fly through the base game with very little time to farm decorations.

This whole method relies on a festival going on, which there is atm.

1. Use defender armor or whatever armor you want, until Iceborne. This part doesn't even matter but defender armor is an easy way to get health boost 3.
2. In Iceborne, craft A(alpha) type armor as they come with more stats and less decoration slots. If you feel you have enough decoration to make B(beta) armor worth it, then do it up to you.
3. Beat Iceborne, then start doing the "A Farewell to Zinogre" event quest, it drops fuel for the steam works. Join people doing the quest or host the quest and fire off an sos. people will join this event quest like mad. You should never have a problem filling up a group it's just one of those quests.
4. With a festival going on the steamworks will now reward bronze, silver, and gold melding tokens. At the melding lady you can turn bronze and silver melding tickets into MHW base game decorations. This will give you almost everything in the decoration 1-3 range. This will get you started. Gold melding tickets are very rare do not try to farm these, you might get some but don't stress about it.
5. With as little as 20k fuel you could most likely have a mega ton of decorations.

What to do next:
1. Do guiding lands, sieges in the guild hall, and other quests(you can do the title update quests slowly because they rise in difficulty fast and all unlock right away).
2. Also when you want to farm some deco 4's, do the event quest, "The Wrath of Thunder Descends", there will almost always be people looking for groups for this. Groups will always fill up.
3. When you get MR 100, you can now farm, "Day of Ruin" as the best deco 4 farm that always fills up. Have never had a problem finding people doing this.

I recently replayed world from the start and this is what I did. Save your lucky tickets for your decoration event quests as using them gives you bonus decorations.

Don't do mew is number one!, its too long and not as good as day of ruin.

This is the first time I learned of the rajang quest, I think i'll do that now.
I didn't know about steamworks, sounds pretty rad to do, ill see what else counts as fuel for it, seems really worth doing it for now, what are lucky tickets btw?

Lucky Voucher are the thing you get when you log in each day, you can hold 5 at a time. They are a common game mechanic for games as a service to keep you addicted to logging in each day.

Except if you don't log in for 4 days, you get 4 all at once in MHW.

What happens if you don't log in for 6 days?
