He is a youtuber that has been posting since WoW was released. He got famous for doing WoW stuff.
Mostly does commentary and one-offs, but a solid dude.
The MH Wilds announcement was the main reason and the sale price and ppl just remembering they had this game and iceborne wasn't that great at launch.
But I guess during NA primetime it has picked up a bit again after starting to drop so he does bring in maybe a 10-20K bump. This will likely increase as he continues to stream it over the next few days.
Asmongold had zero meaningful impact on anything here. Please don't be cringe.
This.
His Twitch followers wanted him to play it and he did. Just dont expect him to down the hardest of monsters. He will properly just finish world and then leave it for good again.
Asmongold had nothing to do with any player count for a game he is just making "react" money on.
I have a feeling OP knows this.
I also find it funny to bring up how even decent people will ♥♥♥♥♥ for money. Stuff they practically know nothing about but hey, it's just "reacting" right, no nothing needed for that.
