Rise was ok, but I don't really think there's a lot of feature from it that I want to see again, the skills on each weapons were pretty much the only good addition, but I don't want to bring back all the counters.
Like the new Lance Running with the shield up, or the SnS multi sword hit to replace the shield bash
I personnaly loved those, hope it will stay
I didn't enjoy the wirebug skills, i was constantly using them for movement and either felt like i was being punished not using them as they were on cooldown constantly, or bored because my combo was replaced by me waiting for them to be off cooldown to use the big attack
they were way more intrusive than the clutch claw ever was
And please just don't do anything like sieges or rampages at all. They played like crap every single time.
That's something we can all agree on I think, RNG systems are just awful.
I'd add guiding lands system to that, concept is cool, but how it was done in iceborne was just not it with area decreasing when you increased others, truly deserve it's grinding lands nickname, hated it as an endgame grind.
This is it right here. Both games brought good things to the table and I hope they carry those goods things over to wilds.
Crazy how there's so many people in teenage girl twilight drama mode "my team(game) is better" when we could be agreeing on what aspects from the games we want to see return in Wilds.
Player numbers and sales speaks for themselves.
That's why their new MH advertising initiative is literally called 'Return to World'
Well if there's anything big corporations are known for, its a unfeeling adherence to whatever will get the most sales. Still, for a normal person, its an unenviable position. Even if its not directly 50/50, its still not a small number of people that would get the short end of the stick.
